WAAC Meeting in Santa Fe

From: Elizabeth C. Welsh <aaphw>
Date: Monday, July 13, 1992
A symposium on the conservation of Tibetan thangkas and a seminar with
the University of Delaware's Richard Wolbers on cleaning systems for
fine arts surfaces will be the special sessions at the 1992 annual
meeting of the Western Association for Art Conservation (WAAC). The
meeting will take place September 27-29 in Santa Fe, NM. In addition to
these events, individual presentations will be made on a variety of
conservation topics.

WAAC Meetings are known for their relaxed collegiality and valuable
professional interaction. WAAC was founded in 1974 to bring together
conservators practicing in the western U.S., but the association
welcomes individual and institutional members and participants from all
over the world.

Annual meeting details are available from Tatyana M. Thompson (WAAC
President), 1453-B 14th Street, Santa Monica, CA 90404; Fax
310/451-1270.
