Photocopying poster

From: Ellen Cunningham-Kruppa <ellen.c>
Date: Monday, June 22, 1992
In response to Linda Oetter-Ayres' request for sources of posters
showing proper handling of books when photocopying, The University of
Texas at Austin General Libraries produced a poster in 1991 entitled
"The Gentle Art of Photocopying." The poster combines text and cartoons
conveying the following messages: forcing a book flat onto a
photocopier can break the binding; brittle paper will break off or
crumble if care is not taken in copying; and, books left on top of
copiers can be damaged by the machine's heat. The poster is printed in
black and red on 80 lb., natural white text weight paper and measures
15.5 x 24 inches. The poster is for sale at $10.00 (non-exempt Texas
purchasers add eight percent sales tax). Price includes postage and
handling. Remittance should be made to: The University of Texas at
Austin General Libraries. Mail order to: Publications, The General
Libraries, The University of Texas at Austin, P.O. Box P, Austin, TX
