For DistList members traveling to the ALA/SF meeting: Lynn Jones and Ann Swartzell would like to invite you to an [informal] open house -- so we can show off our kids as much as anything. Consider this a general social activity for preservation types. If you're traveling with 'extras' for this trip (or have others who might normally not attend preservation type activities--BRING THEM ALONG. WHEN? Thursday, June 25, 1992 between your late afternoon arrival and 9:00 p.m. (which will be midnight for those of you coming from the East Coast//11:00 from the Central time zone... and LATE for those of us with infants in the house) WHERE (the minimal challenge of it all)? 1631 Cornell Ave. in Berkeley call 510 -527-6106 that day for details//if lost or driving Take any BART train marked RICHMOND from SF (using a CONCORD or FREMONT train will require a transfer in Oakland). From the 'North Berkeley' BART station walk along Virginia Ave (the north end of the parking lot) towards the water//away from the hills until you get to Cornell, turn right on Cornell, and halfway up the block on the right is the house of Dan Fuller, Lynn Jones and Henry Ross Fuller. Round trip BART fare would be $3.60 WHAT? Very simple snacks will be provided; conversation is the main activity. Beyond that, we'll make it up as we go//you get here.
