Labels for microfilm boxes

There has been some discussion in this list about labels   for for
microfilm boxes.  Many institutions have problems with labels not
sticking to microfilm boxes.

We have also had the problem at Yale.  Gisela Noack, Conservator at
Yale, did accelerated aging tests on several different labels and
foil-backed labels from University Products were still stuck after 16
days at 100 degrees Celcius (dry oven).

University Products has agreed to sell 1 7/16 x 3 1/2 inch foil-backed
labels (a product which is not yet in their catalog.) Prices follow:

           5,000   -   $44.40 per 1,000
          10,000   -   $28.95 per 1,000
          15,000   -   $23.75 per 1,000
          20,000   -   $21.20 per 1,000
          30,000   -   $18.60 per 1,000
