"Disaster Recovery," a workshop led by Toby Murray, will be held in
    Tulsa, Oklahoma, April 24, 1992.

Toby Murray is Preservation Officer for the University of Tulsa. One
of the most sought-after speakers on conservation and preservation
topics, Toby will teach disaster salvage procedures for water
damaged materials. Designed for archivists who work in a library
setting, this workshop will prepare preservation officers and
non-specialists in the steps to take in case of a disaster,
including the handling of water-soaked books, paper, and microforms.
Participants will also learn how to properly handle frozen
    materials.

The workshop is co-sponsored by the Society of Southwest Archivists
and the Oklahoma Conservation Conference. Registration fee is $30.
