The following message is forwarded from CIN: Posted: Mon Aug 14, 1989 2:17 PM PDT Msg: LTQA-3344-5000 From: Marjorie Cleveland (CAL) To: cin.network Subject: Course on Drying and Flattening Paper The Conservation Analytical Laboratory is attempting to plan a seminar on "The Techniques and Science of Drying and Flattening Paper." Mr. Vitale is seeking inquiries from paper conservators who have a strong interest in, or have studied the paper drying and flattening process; no obligation required, lets just talk about your treatment concerns. In addition, workers in the field of conservation science or Paper Science who have done, or are currently working on research, in the area of study are requested to contact Mr. Vitale. Anyone interested in offering treatment methodologies or scientific studies for consideration of a small group in a seminar environment should inquire. Mr. Vitale is also eager to compile a list of persons (conservators and scientists) working in the area of study, interested in attending the possible seminar, as well as those interested in speaking at the possible seminar on drying and flattening paper. All inquires and expressions of interest are welcome.
