Subject: Jammed box
has anyone had any experience extracting a volume that is jammed/wedged in a pull-apart box (top comes off; leather over board with curved form at spine) -- without destroying the box (or the book)? it appears to have been put in the box so that the foredge is at the spine end of the box and it is jammed in very tightly, with little place for your fingers to grip the volume itself...... all suggestions appreciated. *** Conservation DistList Instance 2:21 Distributed: Tuesday, July 25, 1989 Message Id: cdl-2-21-002 ***Received on Thursday, 20 July, 1989
