Update on Morgan lab

You ask about budget. We are in the middle of a fund raising drive to
pay for the mansion, the renovations, and to put enough new money into
the endowment to pay for runing costs, which will be very high. So, I
have been told that this money must be raised first, although some of my
stuff may come under the renovation budget (water purification for
instance would come under plumbing). After that every new piece of
equipment, and new position would have to be funded. So it may be a long
prosess! Needless to say the architect wants the answers to such
questions as 'do you need extra heavy electric cable for any of the
equipment' and at this stage I'm not sure. Anyway I shall be grateful
for any suggestions and help I can get, even though I have designed labs
before, they have never been so big and for so long term. I'm enjoying
this contact with all of the net users....
