   New Product Alert of the Week: It's a Hyper CD-ROM!

They are calling it a "Hyper CD-ROM" and is this bad boy loaded!
These CD-ROM discs can hold a whooping 10 terabytes. So how
much is 10 terabytes? It's a lot like say, 10,000 gigabytes or the
equivalent of 10 million standard printed books.

The Hyper CD-ROM should be available at a "to-be-determined yet
we know it's going to be a very high price" in about one year's time.
The technology was originally developed for military purposes and
data on the discs will last 5,000 years. That's what the scientists say,
but really, how would any of us know?  >>
