Hello Colleagues:
        I am a member of the Program Committee for the Midwest Archives
Conference meeting in October 1999 at Lincoln, NE. We are putting
together a session called "Digitization as a Research Tool," which will
deal with gaining new information from digitized images or audio material
and considering the benefits of digitization for research. We have a
presenter dealing with the photo imaging aspect of the session.
        I would like to know if anyone has suggestions on a project that
might relate to the audio side of this session, or individuals who might
be interested in participating in it.
        I really appreciate any assistance or ideas anyone might be able
to provide.
