Hi folks- Bob Curtis-Johnson here from Alaska. Great posts.

AMIPA has finally installed it's Archive AC unit, and together with our
dehumidifier we are ready to get a bit cooler and stay there.  Can anybody
comment on whether we need to do a gradual cooling, or can we go straight
to our goal temp. in a couple hours?

Current:        70f degrees, relatively constant, 20-25% rh.

Goal:           50f, same rh.

Contents:       We have a 30' x 35' sealed room containing film and video,
1930's thru 1990's vintage material.
