Those knuckleheads ruined 50% of a bunch of 78s I brought back from Israel two years ago. They will not ask you, they just open your stuff and whatever they dont break by picking up and handling, they demolish when they throw it back together & jump on the suitcase to close it. Good luck to you. Shipping anything in this age of paranoia is a bad idea, period.

I have driven in a truck to Montreal to pickup a load of records because I could not trust customs to leave it alone.
