Re: [ARSCLIST] Riverside associated labels

There is a Riverside Records Discography Project on line. You should be able to get your data from there.

Subject: [ARSCLIST] Riverside associated labels

I would like to know the chronological relationships among the
RIVERSIDE RECORDS related labels and series, and their dates of operation.

e.g. WASHINGTON 700 series was used to reissue many of the Riverside
Folklore 12-600 series
and other folk/world albums from other riverside labels (Judson, etc), seems
to have started out as a classical label (400 series many Arthur Balsam
albums), and later reissues of classical vocal material. When were each of
these active?

The Riverside 800 Specialty Series appears to have drawn material FROM, or
provided material TO other series. Which way was it?

RIVERSIDE (10" 1000, 2500, 8000 series)(12" multitudinous series), OFFBEAT,
WONDERLAND,
GOLDEN WONDERLAND, GOLDEN, JUDSON, BATTLE, what else??
What was the relationship with Golden (AA Records), and other such
relationships??
Were these independent labels, was material licensed or sold outright?.....

Hope someone or 2 or 3 can provide an overview and details.
Thanks!
Best wishes, Thomas.
