Don't confuse this Akai with one of those high-end machines!  The Akai Crossfield M-9 has two speeds:  Slow and Fast!  And a little slot adjuster which reads: out 50/ in 60. and below that it shows: up arrow: 3-2, down arrow: 1-4.

This machine was really made for audience playback, not tape transfer or sound engineering purposes.

I'd be interested in the tape player.  What are the speeds?  Stereo?
