Re: [ARSCLIST] Supraphon date needed

Yup, but Artia was issuing quite a lot of older material when it started up. What I need is the original Supraphon numbers and an approximate date. Maddeningly, the Opera Discography site doesn't list Smetana. A Google search keeps turning up the later stereo recording with a different conductor.

OHIOLINK shows the date for the ARTIA set as "1960." Perhaps it's not be the
exact recording year, but it might be close. The device "A Supraphon/Ramco
production" is also given in the OHIOLINK entry.

Anyone have an approximate recording date (the year will do) and original
issue numbers for Smetana's THE SECRET? Prague National Theatre Company conducted
by VACLAV NEUMANN (not Jaroslav Krombholc, who conducts what appears to be a
later stereo recording with the same cast). US issue is Artia ALPO 84.

Thanks!
