Then why did the Digital Media Organization lobby Congress to have  this
government arbitration panel set up and then refuse to make any offer two
years ago forcing the rates into arbitration? Satellite radio had no problem
negotiating a mutually equitable deal with SoundExchange.

I'd suggest that you take the time to do your homework and separate the
facts from the Silicon Valley investment banking community's spin. You'll
find that these guys are no friend to small webcasters. Your future really
depends on knowing the facts about this issue as does that of my artist
clients. Otherwise there will only be Yahoo, CheapChannrl, Apple, Micro$oft
and AOL taking over from the major labels. This return to a 1920s "business
model" will leave artists lucky to get any credits, much less royalties.
