Re: [ARSCLIST] Is The Record Shop Dead?

Hey, call me low-brow, but early ZZ Top definitely does it for me. Bob Ludwig remastered new CD's of "Tres Hombres" and "Fandango" in the last couple of years and I think they're great. Album notes are by a guy who claims to be ZZ Top's "archivist." Bonus material is from I think King Biscuit Flower Hour radio shows, really badly recorded.

I didn't say I don't have several ZZ Top albums myself and the George Jones Box Set. Just talking about truck stops. You ain't lived till you had a truck stop chicken fried steak at 3 AM and bought a greatest hits collection at the counter.

The selection at Target, Wal-Mart, and the like, remind me of that
little rack of cassette tapes they have at every mega truck stop. "Tammy Wynette and "old possum face's" greatest duets" and the complete
works of ZZ Top.

Hey,I LIKE George Jones.I like African Highlife music too...
