New York Youth Symphony seeks two temporary, full-time Project 
Coordinators. Excellent opportunity for extremely-motivated individuals 
with experience in music cataloguing and digital music engineering. 

1. Audio File Digitization 

* compile performance inventory of archival recordings 
* assess any possible damage 
* research potential media restoration companies 
* act as liaison between the administrative office and the restoration 
company 
* determine methods of online storage 
* design and prepare online archive for public access. 

2. Sheet Music Library Cataloguing 

* transport sheet music from Long Island to new storage location in 
Manhattan 
* catalogue and compile inventory of scores and parts 
* research affordable methods of paper preservation 

Ability to read music is a must. 

Salary commensurate with experience. Project Coordinator is expected to 
fulfill all duties of both projects by September 30, 2007. Project 
Coordinator will be expected to work in the office occasionally.
