Re: [ARSCLIST] Mystery singers

This is easy. Tracks 1-4 and 7-9 are from a 10" LP recorded in 1952. By the way this can be downloaded in FLAC or full wave format from the European Internet Archive (which is blocked for US users).

Track 5 must be from the complete Aida also from 1952. The remaining tracks would be from recordings of Cavalleria issued in UK 6/54 with Elena Nicolai and Aldo Protti (cond. Ghione)and Pagliacci, issued 11/53 with Clara Petrella (Nedda), Afro Poli (Tonio), Protti (Silvio), Piero de Palma (Beppe), Erede conducting.

Subject: [ARSCLIST] Mystery singers

Pardon the cross-posting but between the two lists, someone will know the answers to this one. Here are the contents of a Mario del Monaco LP (complete with its two titles..London could never make up its mind about what to call compilations and sometimes used as many as 3 titles on front cover, back cover and labels). Tracks 11-13 are clearly lifted from complete sets c. 1955 but I have no idea who the other performers are..a mystery soprano or two, a baritone and a chorus. Anyone know? (They won't be from live recordings since those were issued much later).
