  This is an attempted reply to Steve Smolian's message, which I hope will be 
forwarded with this. If it's not correctly done, I ask mercy from all for a 
computer idiot.

  I have looked through Philip Stuart's London Philharmonic discography 
(Greenwood Press, 1997) and do not find van Hoogstraten listed in any index.

  I'd like to know what recording he's thought to have made with the LPO, 
too.

It's his conductorial rather than pianistic activities that interest me 
particularly in this context.  A London Phil O record of him conducting 
rather than accompanying would be a pleasant surprise.  But it it is his 
functioning within the various political systems that piques my curiosity.
