[ARSCLIST] Comparable collections anywhere?

Hi:

We're looking into finding preservation monies; however we really need to know if what we have is duplicated somewhere else and what "out there" is similar. Any ideas, comments, or suggestions would be hugely appreciated.

Abstract:

The Philadelphia Fellowship Commission was a pioneering, well-connected, and extremely active early civil rights organization. They addressed many racial and ethnic-related conflicts and problems that Philadelphia faced in the two decades after World War II in areas such as employment, housing, community-police relations, discrimination in public accommodations and services, election practices, and education.

The Philadelphia Fellowship Commission recordings are radio plays produced by the Commission dealing with issues of tolerance, ethics, and diversity. Primary date range is 1941-1957. They include programs entitled Within Our Gates, Hate Incorporated, and Valor Knows No Creed. Scripts for many of these are at Temple University’s Urban Archives. The Commission's archives are housed at The Historical Society of Pennsylvania. The most recent cross-referencing of the disc inventory to the original Fellowship Commission card catalog indicates that only a few of the titles are missing.

The collection consists of approximately 600 sides on 33 1/3 acetate surfaced discs, most on aluminum cores, with a total running time of sixteen minutes per side, for a total of 160 hours of recorded sound. Most discs are in very good to excellent condition. Test transfers indicate robust sound.
