Subject: [ARSCLIST] soundscape DAW

anyone know about their apparently proprietary disk format and file format?

is there any way to get files from hard drives of a soundscape system other than having it export them? that is, if one has the drives but not the DAW.

I don't know about getting the data off the drives, but if you're talking about the .ATAK (audio take) format, this might help:

"Version 9.1 of FMJ Software's Awave Audio batch conversion utility supports the proprietary Soundscape .ATAK (Audio Take) format.
This will be welcome news for Soundscape users who frequently exchange large numbers of audio files files with other digital audio workstations or computers.
Beside Take conversion to a wide range of audio formats, it allows Soundscape Takes to be auditioned directly from a logical drive of the host PC (where they may reside for storage and backup purposes)...."

Hope this helps,
