Hi, Joe,

DVD-Rs hold 4.5 GB to 4.7 GB depending on how you count. CD-Rs hold 650-700 MB plus or minus.

about 20 minutes of 24/96 stereo would fit on a CD.

Two hours of 24/96 stereo effectively fills a DVD, as obviously, does 30-minutes of 8-track.
