As I mentioned at the meeting in Seattle, IASA's annual conference will
take place in Mexico City, September 9^th to 14^th . The theme for this
year's conference is,/ Between Memory and Oblivion//: The Cultural
Significance of// Archives/. IASA and the conference hosts, the
Fonoteca Nacional and Radio Educaion, have put together an interesting
program. It promises to be an exciting event in one of the world's
great cities. The preliminary program, registration form, and hotel and
other information are now up on the web
