Do you want to work with the music collections of the Alexander Turnbull Library? These include the music scores, sound recordings, and other records of New Zealand composers, musicians and music organisations that make up the Library's Archive of New Zealand Music, as well as music materials, in all formats, in the Library's published collections. 

We require a librarian or archivist who has experience of working with both published and unpublished materials, enjoys assisting researchers, and is knowledgeable about New Zealand music.

The successful applicant will work with Manuscripts and Archives staff in acquiring, processing, and making available the records of composers, musicians and music organisations; as well as assisting with the development of the published music collections, and research use of them. The successful applicant will also assist in managing copyrighted materials, and in the administration of trust funds. 

Applicants must possess a music degree and a qualification in library or archival management.

Salary Range:  $49,273  -  $57,968
