Also, add Robert Johnson (the blues hero)...who ripped off BOTH sides of
Kokomo Arnold's blues hit of 1934! "Old Original Kokomo Blues" (itself
taken from Leroy Carr & Scrapper Blackwell) became "Sweet Home
Chicago" after a (very) few alterations of the lyrics...and the other side
was "Milk Cow Blues" (also recorded by Johnson). In fact, Johnson's
"From Four Till Late" is simply a remake of the Tin Pan Alley blues,
"Four O'Clock Blues!"
