By 1929 Speak-O-Phone had made its way to Austin Texas! Some years ago I
did a transfer of some discs recorded in Austin in 1929. Fortunately they
had not been played often and the sound was quite excellent. A paper label
on the disc indicated that they have been recorded in the local music
store.
