To best protect yourself, you might want to bulk erase them first. It's crazy time, folks.

That was my suggestion. The question is, what are the legal and ethical
problems of passing this material, which represented considerable time and expense
to create, to private hands? Or just letting that happen (setting them next to
instead of in the dumpster).
