I am currently performing some research looking at the effect of jewel
cases with different inserts trays on the stability of CDs/CD-Rs. I have
included the Corrosion Intercept product in the study. A paper with the
results should be published in 6 to 12 months.

Has anyone come across Corrosion Intercept CD Inserts, as described here
http://www.omega-intercept.com/cd_protection.html? Primarily they claim
to neutralise any off-gassing which might otherwise adversarily affect
the reflective layer of a CD/CDR/CDRW.

Experiences and opinions welcomed.
