My understanding is that the killers of interest in the real world are time, temperature, oxygen and moisture.
So what to do for a quick & dirty test? Can't do time. For the others, how about a closet, well sealed, that can handle a heater, some form of humidifier to raise the level to 100% humidity, and a very bright light similiar to full sunlight?
