the underwater artifact is the trickiest part, granted.


pre-EQing is fairly critical. i use linear EQ to remove sub material and any constant tones i can notch out *before* i do the <learn> process.

i recommend auditioning the removed noise while adjusting all settings
instead of the audio itself. if you can hear tiny bits of the audio, or
just *think* you hear tiny bits (of the stuff you want to keep), then
keep adjusting until the noise is very broadband and only gently
modulates around. then the artifact should be as best it will be,
whether x-noise, dinr, or other. i find that the low / medium / high
resolution is not intuitive, that is, the one which works best may not
be the one you intuit. check those too...
