Re: [ARSCLIST] John Lomax Library of Congress recordings



Thank you. I'll read with great interest.

Each side of these two discs features a recording from different years
(1940, 1933, 1937, 1938), so these must have been compiled for some
subsequent purpose. Perhaps this was how the Library of Congress
supplied copies of these recordings in the pre-tape era?

of excerpts from it for Christmas.
