There's a very handy web-based classified called Pro Audio
Marketplace
which contains lots of ads for audio gear, both analogue and digital, at
very reasonable prices.
There are usually some Otaris listed. NB: It's important to discuss
condition with the seller, so that there are no nasty surprises. A used deck
will often need work, so make sure you have a knowledgeable technician ready to
renovate your purchase.

Subject: Re: [ARSCLIST] Looking for a 1/4
track reel-to-reel
Does anyone know if there
are any companies making 1/4-inch analogue, quarter-track reel-to-reel tape decks any more? I
received an e-mail today from an Archivist at a university in Kansas that
is desperately searching to buy one. It seems as though the only way to buy
one at all, any more is used.
