Of course. There's Takao Yamada's "American Popular Music on Japanese 78rpm Record, 1927 to 1958". I think Nauck is still selling it. It's broken down by label, then date, which may help date some discs.
But, if memory serves me, Tokyo Records came out of post-war Los Angeles!
There are numerous discographies... sold in Japan, in kanji. I cannot quote line and verse, though. Also can't read kanji (sigh).

I've encountered a number of discs on these labels:

Teichiku Record Co., Tokyo Record Co., & Shiochiku Record Co.. Is there a discography somewhere?
