[ARSCLIST] ARSC-SAM Conference: DEADLINES!



Heads up!  A deadline is fast approaching.

February 9, 2004 is the last day to secure discounted Early Registration
Rates and guaranteed lodging at the conference hotel, for the upcoming
ARSC-SAM Conference.

The conference will take place in Cleveland, Ohio, from Wednesday, March 10
through Sunday, March 14.

Details about the program, registration, travel, lodging, and more are at
the Conference Web Pages, accessible from either http://arsc-audio.org/ or
http://www.american-music.org/

The Association for Recorded Sound Collections (ARSC) and the Society for
American Music (SAM) invite you to join us in Cleveland, to experience a
stunning array of 130 papers, presentations, panels, and performances.

Single and double rooms are being held for conference attendees, at the
Renaissance Cleveland Hotel, until February 9.  If you had any trouble
reserving the kind of room you prefer, please call again: (800) 468-3571.
The Renaissance reservations staff will take your request and a confirmation
will be sent to you, via e-mail or postal mail, within one week after your
call.  For any unresolved questions about lodging, please call the Senior
Event Manager at the hotel, Ms. Lan Ta, at (216) 902-4081.

To save another $10, don't forget to sign up for ARSC's March 10th workshop
"Topics in Oral History and Music Field Recordings," before the February 9th
Early Registration Cutoff Date.
