I don't know of voice recordings of Johnson, but are you aware of the
reference to him in blues and lyric folksongs about the ocean liner Titanic?
I don't have any discographic citations handy, but others who monitor this
list (Dick Spottswood?) might:

Jack Johnson wanted to get on board
[They] said. "This ship don't haul no coal..."
