Your idea works, in fact most mail readers can do something
like this, but you still have to download the mail before it
throws it out.

That's alright for those on a free and/or fast connection.
Believe it or not, there are still a lot of people relying
on slow dial-ups, for which they pay by the minute or second
- and I'm one of them!!

Anyway, the problem is gone now, thanks to Graham, and there
is little point in generating a lot of follow-up mail.
