Finding Aid Format

Hi, all;

For those of you who work in an academic setting and are creating finding
aids for your recorded materials;  what level of information do you include
in the records?  For example, in our Hanson collection there exists with
his personal papers a number of disks and analog recordings.  How would you
list them in a finding aid; and to what level of detail would you go? 

Examples would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Esther.
