Thomas Barrow, immigrant came to America from Lancashire, England

Thomas Barrow, his son, lived in or around Surry Co., Va.

John Barrow and wife Elizabeth lived in Prince George Co., Va.
He was granted land patents in Brunswick County in 1745 and 1751 amounting to 1,012 acres. on February 5, 1746 he deeded to his sons, William and John 200 acres each in Brunswick Co., Va. [ ]

William Barrow and wife, Priscilla Hawks, lived near Barrow's store in Brunswick County, Virginia.

John Barrow, of Brunswick Co., Va. married (1) Jane (Jincy) Johnson, on August 13, 1803. Married (2) Elizabeth Catherine Hardy.

William Johnson Barrow, b. Oct. 18, 1809, d. Aug. 15, 1895 (son of John Barrow and (1) wife Jane (Jincy) Johnson married (1) Virginia Katherine Hardy on Sept. 19, 1837, and (2) Mary (Molly) Peace. No children by (2) marriage.

William Henry Barrow, b. Dec. 8, 1830; d. March 17, 1913; married Lucy Ann Elizabeth Hawthorne on Feb. 28, 1861.

She was born Dec. 25, 1843; d. June 1923.

Bernard Barrow, b. Dec. 15, 1874; d. June 13, 1954; married on March 23, 1898, Sallie Virginia Archer, b. October 5, 1877, in Petersburg, Va. (living in 1969)

William James Barrow, b. Brunswick Co., Va. Dec. 11, 1904; d. Richmond, Virginia, August 25, 1967; married on April 6, 1935, Ruth Abbott Gibbs, (daughter of Morris Winston Gibbs M.D. and Willie Neolia Abbott) b. Dec. 24, 1912.
