This is the Document Type Definition (DTD) for JAIC; the root which references the external entity declarations. The DTD is a formal set of rules that defines the document structure tree, including which elements can be used and where they may be applied in relationship to each other. The entities are the structural components, or leaves, of the document tree which together specify the hierarchy and granularity of any Journal article.
