MARGARET LAWSON has been a paper conservator at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York since 1981. She has a B.A. in studio art and art history from the College of Wooster, in Wooster, Ohio, and an M.A. and certificate of advanced study from the State University of New York, College at Oneonta, New York (Cooperstown Graduate Program in the Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works).
