WALLPAPER AND ITS CONSERVATION—AN ARCHITECTURAL CONSERVATOR'S PERSPECTIVE

Andrea M. Gilmore

FOOTNOTES

The term “wallpaper conservator” is used in this paper to refer to the paper and paintings conservators who have combined their expertise to conserve historic wallpapers.

Perhaps the most concrete indication of this increased interest in historic wallpaper is the recent publication of Catherine Lynn's excellent book, Wallpaper in America. Ms. Lynn, in her introduction to her book, discusses this phenomenon.
