Porchasauras Wrecks (Rick Jordan, 1984-85)
Made of welded automobile parts, including feet made of oil pans and a tail made from
truck fenders filled with rocks, this is an example of an artwork made from everyday found
objects. Just under six feet tall, the name Porchasaurus Wrecks humorously refers to its
much larger and prehistoric model, as well as to the state of the implied vehicle from
which the sculpture was created.
