Lewiston

Lewis and Clark Expedition in Idaho 1805 (1994)
by Doug Hyde
During their exepidition across the United States, Meriweather Lewis and William Clark crossed northern Idaho, through the town of Lewiston. To commemorate this adventure, a sculpture group of the two explorers, a Nez Pierce chief, the chief's son, 4 Indian women, and a young Indian girl was designed.

Imagine that you are able to travel back in time. What do you think that Lewis, Clark, and the Chief were discussing at this moment? Look at the sculpture clues. How does each person interact with the others?
