The American Institute for Conservation (AIC) established this website to provide a centralized repository of news and other information useful or those involved in efforts to preserve cultural material impacted by the hurricane as well as related health and safety issues. The site organizes and presents information chronologically and by subject matter. AIC members serving on the Emergency Preparedness, Response and Recovery Committee, the Health and Safety Committee, Specialty Group Chairs and the Board may post to this site. Suggested additions to the site may be made by contacting individuals in this group or by sending an email to Paul Messier, AIC Director of Communications, pm@paulmessier.com. When posting, please be sure to include a short, meaningful subject line so information is indexed as effectively as possible.

NCEN is a public service of the American Institute for Conservation. AIC and Stanford University are not responsible for the accuracy of content or for the opinions expressed on the site. Concerns regarding information posted on the site can be sent to the AIC Director of Communications, pm@paulmessier.com

The AIC is grateful to Walter Henry for inspiring and establishing this service and to Stanford University for hosting this site.
